Following Kelly’s post on her bucket list, here’s mine. No particular order, and subject to change.
Turkey: Istanbul is one of the world’s most intriguing cities, rich in history, and where East meets West. I have heard of great things about the sights to be seen outside of the big city, too. And, under the sometimes-quirky rules of the Century Club, Turkey counts as 2 countries (Turkey in Europe and Turkey in Asia)
India: Certain to be a challenging, life-changing experience.
Morocco: The confluence of Arabic, French, and Mediterranean cultures is not to be missed. I could spend days roaming through the bazaars, and eating the amazing food.
Croatia: Still seems to be a fairly overlooked European destination. Amazing beaches, beautiful old cities, and friendly people.
Madagascar: Purely for the exotic appeal. One of those spots that’s truly at the end of the Earth.
